Raised in Azle, Micah has always had a deep connection to his hometown and the sports community that helped shape him. Growing up, he spent his years on the football field and baseball diamond, playing throughout his entire time in Azle and building a lifelong passion for teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

Today, that same passion carries into the next generation through his twin boys, who recently turned 7 years old. Since they could walk, the boys have been involved in AYS football and baseball, following closely in their dad’s footsteps. This upcoming season marks an exciting milestone as they begin their very first year of tackle football.

One of Micah’s greatest joys has been the opportunity to coach his sons in both football and baseball, creating memories that go far beyond the scoreboard. For him, coaching is about more than the game — it’s about teaching hard work, confidence, character, and the importance of family and community. Through sports, Micah continues to pour into the same town and programs that once poured into him.
