austin Mobley
years of service: 2025 - present
Austin Mobley has called Azle home his entire life. His passion for sports and community began at just five years old, when he joined the Azle Youth Association (AYA) and played flag football. That first step turned into an 18-year football journey that carried him all the way through his senior year at Howard Payne University.
Even after hanging up his cleats, Austin never strayed far from the field. He stayed involved with AYA by announcing games, running the scoreboard, and helping maintain the facilities—working alongside his dad, Chris Mobley, who served as AYA President.
Professionally, Austin works as an Account Executive for Texas Corrugated Box & Packaging. At home, he and his wife Jamie—who he met at Howard Payne University while he played football and she played soccer—are raising two active boys, Brantley (7) and Brody (6). The boys attend Hilltop Elementary, where Jamie has served for two years as an Instructional Coach. Before that, Jamie was a teacher with the district for seven years, giving her a total of nine years with Azle ISD.
Brantley and Brody are multi-sport athletes, keeping the family busy year-round with football, wrestling, and baseball. Austin actively coaches all three sports and is passionate about building a strong, united community with a shared goal: supporting the kids.
Outside of sports, the Mobley family enjoys spending time outdoors—riding side by sides, camping, and making the most of every opportunity to be together.

A MESSAGE FROM AUSTIN TO THE AYS COMMUNITY
"Stinger Field was a huge part of my life for many years. I think of that place like a second home. I'm honored to now give back to the same place that shaped my upbringing. The friendships and memories I made there helped me become who I am today."
